PRE SEASONED:
THE CHEF STORY ACACIA WOODEN CHOPPING BOARD comes pre-seasoned with food-grade mineral oil. This process is done for more durability. The more these boards are oiled the longer is their life.
FILLINGS IN WOOD:
The Acacia woods have natural deformities. These gaps are cured by using food-grade sealer which won’t come out.
KNIFE MARKS:
Although the chopping boards are beautiful, they have to take the beating of sharp knives. Hence it is natural that knife marks will appear on the board.
WARRANTY:
THE CHEF STORY Provides you with a warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase.
THE CHEF STORY warrants to the original owner of the chopping board that it is free of defects in materials and workmanship for the period mentioned above.
This warranty does not cover the below cases :
1) Use and Care instructions published in our literature and on our website have not been followed.
2) Damage or destruction caused by misuse, abuse, accident, alterations, or commercial use.
3) Incidental or consequential damages
4) Damage due to natural causes, such as fire, earthquakes, and typhoons.
5) The Claimant is not able to produce original proof of purchase.

THE CHEF STORY Chopping Board can is Washable. Just rinse it with a mild detergent. Keep it away from Deepwater soaks and Abrasives.
Place the board upright and air dries before storing it away.
Season your Chopping board with food-safe mineral oil on regular basis for longer life.

Just got this chopping board yesterday. So I dont know about its durability yet. Initially I thought this board was too small but after using it I realised its perfect for a single woman like me. The board looks sturdy and is made of single block of wood. Im very happy as of now with my buy its worth the money.

Board is made of solid wood and is heavy. The wood color is much darker than in the photo. The wood gets scratched easily and then it is rough to clean.Earlier I was using a bamboo board, which was lighter and the surface remained smooth for more than 15 years after which the board broke in two pieces.Let me test the durability of this solid wood board.

Been using this board for a while. It is well made with excellent finish. The customer support is awesome.. had some issue with the first delivery which got promptly addressed. Was using the plastic version for many years and decided to move to wood when I saw small plastic particles in the cut vegetables . Since this is natural wood it does Involve some maintenance but I am sure this will last long

Nice cutting board, but started warping a bit after sometime. Maybe the wood was not completely dry. Also you have to keep rubbing in the oil provided by them.

I hardly used it for 2 weeks. Already multiple cracks are visible in the chopping board. And board warped even though I clean it only at the end of the day with water and wipe it and leave it to dry inside the kitchen. No exposure to sun. The only reason I went for this board is it is supposed to be a single block without any adhesives. And the premium paid for this product is not worth it for this poor quality.
